The HR10DDT is a 1.0 L dual direct injected, supercharged, turbocharged, straight-3 engine that was anticipated for use in the 2010 Nissan Micra,[1] but was ultimately dropped in favour of the HR10/12DE and still-simpler HD12DDR/DDT variants, dependent on vehicle and application.
HR is a family of straight-3 and straight-4automobile engines co-developed by Nissan (Aichi Kikai) and Renault. Renault calls it the H engine. There are two basic designs with 72.2 mm bore resp. 78 mm bore diametre. The smaller engines are available as 3-cylinders with a displacement of 0.9 l or 1.0 l, 4-cylinders at 1.2 l or 1.33 l (4-cylinders also with direct injection). There are rumors about a 0.8 litre 3-cylinder in India. In the list below the HRA2DDT is the only engine from this small design.

the third-gen version is in development. Auto Plus has created a rendering to speculate on the design of the next-gen Dacia Sandero.
The Dacia Sandero improved remarkably in design when it moved to its second generation. The French magazine suggests that the low-cost car will take an even more significant leap for its third generation.
The rendered next-gen Dacia Sandero has better proportions. It looks a lot more balanced and athletic, mainly because of its imposing front-end comprising sleeker headlamps, slimmer radiator grille, beefier bumper with strongly contoured corners and thinner and sharper lower air intake. The extra body cladding and flush roof rails indicate we are looking at the Stepway adventure variant.
With its full model change next year, the Dacia Sandero will grow significantly to move from B- to the C-segment, reports Auto Bild.
With its speculative rendering, the German publication suggests that the Dacia Sandero will traverse upmarket in its third generation, and that’s not all. The sub-compact hatchback will metamorphose into a proper hatchback like a Renault Megane or Ford Focus.
The third generation Dacia Sandero will ride on the CMF-B platform, which Groupe Renault has developed in two types: low specifications and high specifications. It is safe to assume that Dacia will pick the low specifications given its target price and audience. Utilising a B-segment car’s platform for a C-segment project is something even Skoda plans to do, for its next-gen Rapid Spaceback due next year.
Back to the Sandero, toggling to the CMF-B and gaining AEB will help in achieveing a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
The 2020 Dacia Sandero’s engine options will likely include small and compact petrol, bi-fuel and diesel engines, most carried over with from the current model, albeit with improvements. Dacia could offer the new 1.3-litre TCe engine co-developed by the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Daimler as well.
